Pomegranate Granola Breakfast parfait

Method

I made this Breakfast parfait with some of the home made granola that I made last week. This is by far, the best way to eat granola. You may use any fruit of choice but I have made this using pomegranates, which are in season these days. Not only do they look so pretty, looking like little rubies on top of the yogurt, but they have innumerable health benefits as they are rich in antioxidants. Pomegranates are proved to help the LDL cholesterol under control and also help prevent heart disease. It is also considered a good remedy for women with menstrual disorders.

Verdict: The combination of layer upon layer of crunchy granola on top of creamy yogurt sandwiched by sweet and healthy pomegranate pearls is just awesome! It was very filling and kept me going through the day until a 2 PM lunch. Powerful!!
